There is a frightening amount of hail falling right now.

I live in Aurora, on the east side of Denver and the grass is completely covered in hail. It started falling about 20 minutes ago. The water rushing through our parking lot is unreal.

EDIT: Added pic from my front porch.

Hopefully you weather it well and your car is covered!

Sucks to live in Colorado right now. Feel for you folks. I'm in NM and we have had more rain in the last week than we normally get all year.

I got nothing. I thought it was raining hard, turns out it was the "waterfall" in the hotel we're working out of.

So far in Southern CO, it's just partly cloudy. Be safe up there!

Not even a little. It's right out in the open. At least my partner's car is partially under a tree.

Look to the southeast, that's where it's coming from. All I can hear outside are sirens now.

My parents live in Castle Rock, and I think they are getting pounded too.

Ahh, that really sucks. I got hit hard back in June. I've got about 200 dents in my car that are going to have to be pounded out. =(

Hopefully the hail is small enough where it'll just bounce off.

No kidding. This is ridiculous. Oh, the hail stopped, but it's still raining.

SCHNIKES ! That's crazy...

Many many moons ago, I attended Tech School @ Lowry AFB. We had a fluke snow storm that dumped 8" of wet snow in Late September. It was gone the next day. Madness !

I'm flying out to DEN tomorrow morning first thing. It's a bummer that the greater Denver area has been so soggy/flooded. I was going to rent a motorcycle tomorrow for a run up Pikes Peak, but it's supposed to rain, and I bet part of the road will be closed.

Should we have a Jalopmeet tomorrow night to take everyone's mind off the rain ?

Oh, good! You'll be in town just in time... for it to rain some more. That is the forecast, anyway.

wow! All i'm getting is rain, Littleton. Good luck with the hail, hope its not damaging anything (especially cars). I planted a bunch of new trees and shrubs, hope I don't get any hail!
